The charity can help bill for utility bills if it can prevent an eviction. Other grants can help with rent, fuel, or a security deposit. The United Way of Gaston County provides partial funding. Free Legal Services
Free legal aid covers landlord tenant disputes, security for domestic violence, and fraud. They also help seniors and the poor apply for benefits, such as HUD section 8 rent vouchers or disability.
