Housing and Rental Assistance

- The community action agency wants to help people both stay in their homes, and avoid an eviction from their apartment. To help in this capacity they offer the following. Housing options and services for the low income including one-time rental assistance, long term rent subsidies, foreclosure prevention, credit repair, and homeownership education services.

- The community action agency also serves the role of the Regional Food Bank for Oregon Food Bank which supplies USDA commodities, free food, groceries and donated food to area food banks and pantries. Low income housing - Apartments are owned and managed by the agency, and they can provide short term accommodations to qualified families as well as time for people to save their income so they can obtain a permanent home on their own.
