Low income families and people who are struggling during these difficult times may be able to receive free or low cost food, groceries, and meals. There is assistance available from charity or church run food banks and pantries near you in Honolulu.
A number of centers operate in the community, and provide services to people of all backgrounds, religions, ages and nationalities. Several centers also focus on meeting the needs to military members.

Most of the food distribution programs provide prepackaged bags of food, which can include protein, vegetables, fruit, and canned goods.
