Red Rock Area Community Action Agency administers several programs for local residents. They are a non profit organization that coordinates services, access to other charities and programs and they have their own direct services when necessary to meet the basic needs of the low income and economically disadvantaged, elderly, and other people who are struggling.

MICA (Mid-Iowa Community Action) is another regional non-profit. Most of what they will provide is referrals to government sponsored programs. As examples of what may be provided to clients, the following is offered. Head Start is for child development. MICA is involved on job and employment programs in Jasper County and the region.
