Catholic Charitable Bureau of the Archdiocese of Boston, Inc. This charity also operates across Suffolk and nearby counties. Various programs are administered year round. Children and seniors may also enroll into holiday programs, including gifts at Christmas, home delivered meals, free groceries, and more.
Migrants in the Boston area can get help during the Christmas season as well. The churches in Suffolk and Middlesex County MA work to provide holiday help to the poor, immigrants, single mothers and others.

Faith-Based Emergency Assistance
Salvation Army of Massachusetts: Various resources are available, including the Christmas Castle Programs as well as Adopt a Family. This will provide necessities (clothes, gifts, toys) to eligible individuals and families during the holidays. They also run an Annual Toy Drive, among other services provided.

Faith-Based Emergency Assistance

There are separate programs for each county. Kids, teens, and children from age 0 to 17 can apply for games, clothes, Chromebooks, books and other free toys. Note this service does not give free toys or Christmas gifts to individual families. Applicants must contact a church in their town (or city of Boston), a charity, or a social worker.
Christmas gifts are gender specific and will be free and can include games, clothes, trucks for boys, dolls, and more. They offer assistance programs in Middlesex County. Free groceries, birthday or Christmas gifts, toileteries, financial help, coats or boots and more. They have various free holiday programs for Boston MA and nearby towns.
They partner with Toys for Tots. Get free gift cards, food boxes, games, shoes, winter coats and more. Children, teenagers and the homeless, among others, can get assistance at Christmas.
