Missouri transitional housing programs. Numerous transitional housing programs are available for the homeless, very low income, recently evicted and others in Missouri. The exact resources offered will vary by location and the non-profit. In general, the programs will provide qualified families a place to live and self-sufficiency type support.
Housing can be provided for several weeks up to several months. While individuals stay in the units they will need to work with a case manager on life skills development. This will include such things as finding a job, gaining new skills, attending budgeting classes, and more. You will also get assistance in finding a new, permanent home to live in somewhere in Missouri.
