Food banks provide support to low income families in the Onslow County region of North Carolina. The distribution centers, most of which are run by non-profit organizations, have volunteers that partner with clients. Everything from a bag of groceries to a box of food is offered from a pantry, while many offer other assistance as well.
The Jacksonville area food pantries are involved in the administration of many other resources for working poor families.
