Pittsburgh Community Food Bank is
a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that collects and distributes food and groceries. they work with partners including hundreds of charities, churches and non-profits that operates in 11 counties in southwestern Pennsylvania. Through special events, fund raising, donations, agreements with local charities and community partnerships, the Food Bank helps feed seniors, the low-income, poor and others.
Through outlets such as local soup kitchens, food pantries, and shelters, items are provided to the needy and low income. The Food Bank also supports after school programs, senior high rises, MH-MR drop-in centers, neighborhood food assistance agencies, emergency or disaster-related feeding sites, regional food banks, Meals on Wheels, as well as community centers.

, is based at 1 3616 S. Galloway Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148. Provides assistance to all of the Philly area. The sites works with churches and charities in the region. There are free food banks that operate in the city and suburbs. Or get a meal from a soup kitchen, home delivery for seniors and other support.
The main assistance programs in the Philadelphia area range from Kids Cafe to Pet Pantry as well as SNAP Outreach. There will be cereal, dairy, snacks for students, hygiene supplies and other goods. The Food Bank warehouse stores a wide variety of groceries, free canned items and other types of non-perishable foods for qualified people as well as kids, adults and families in poverty. The warehouse contains a wide variety of food items that are purchased from both state and federal government programs and used specifically for distribution to the pantries.
