Revitalize Milwaukee helps the disabled, seniors and vets among others, often in partnership Charitable Adult Rides & Services, or CARS. Revitalize Milwaukee takes donated vehicles and they may be fixed up, and given, to the low-income. Or the donated items are some for money with those funds given to pay for stuff such as a car or truck.

Donations of quality used cars, trucks, and vehicles are solicited from the general community. Once the vehicle is repaired, it is inspected and it will be issued a certificate of road worthiness.

While the transportation programs vary, in some cases eligible participants are charged the cost of any needed car repairs to cover program costs but the balance of the car truck is free.
